They all have grown up with the kids. From there, we have welcomed a few more boxers into our home. It was not long into our marriage that my husband and I brought home Diva, our first boxer. But as things go, I grew up, went to nursing school, and got married, and had to leave Java at home in Calgary. Our love began with 'Java', our precious brindle girlie who we purchased from a breeder in Calgary. We have been loyal to the boxer breed since I was 14 years old. From that moment on, my love for animals grew and grew, until it became what it is today a small warmblood horse breeding operation, and a family of boxers that make our lives all the richer! Having said that, I want to express that I am so very thankful for the new learning opportunities the animals present on a daily basis! And for a few mentors along the way! Not a day goes by that I don't learn a little something new! My understanding of animals, their conformation, their dispositions, the predator versus prey relationship, the pressure and release tactics, all began at age 12 when I went on my first trail ride. ![]() We are fortunate enough to live just outside of Calgary, Alberta on an acreage that offers plenty of trails and adventure for both the two legged sorts and all of our four leggeds as well: the horses and the dogs! My husband and I, along with our three children, have had a recent move from the Lamont area to the Okotoks, Alberta area.
